Good morning! I’m getting ready for my next chemo infusion this morning. (This will be treatment #8 of 16). One blessing as a result of my diagnosis is that I had to take a hard look at my faith and re-evaluate my priorities. I received a daily devotional as a gift (“Jesus is Calling” by Sarah Young) by two friends that exude faith and strength…..so I figured it was a book I should check out! Since then, I’ve made time to read it each morning before my day starts. Yesterday and today’s devotional seemed particularly relevant, so I thought I would share. “Seek me not only in the morning quietness but consistently throughout the day. Do not let unexpected problems distract you from my presence. Instead, talk with me about everything and watch confidently to see what I will do.”
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”- Isaiah 40:31
Thank you to everyone who is following along in this journey with me and praying for healing and strength. It lifts me up more than you realize.
