Ring My (Radiation) Bell

Hey guys! Super quick post before I have to get ready for work this morning. I’m scheduled for radiation treatment #32 today! Which means…..my LAST radiation treatment is this Monday April 15th! I’d love for my friends/family/support team/prayer warriors to come share this milestone with me 🙂 Radiation is much faster than chemo so you shouldn’t have to wait around very long at all. **I also just found out that you can bring your kids to this bell ringing! (As long as they aren’t sick)😉😁 The hospital is more strict about kids around chemo patients on the 4th floor for obvious reasons (compromised immune systems, etc.). But we’re good to go for Monday if you have your (healthy) little ones with you🖤

Details: 4:10pm April 15, 2019: First floor of the GYN Cancer Pavilion at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge. (Address: 100 Woman’s Way, Baton Rouge, LA 70817). When you walk in, sweet Mrs. Dee will be there to point you in the right direction. (p.s. I plan on blogging about my radiation experience with pictures, etc. for those wanting more details). 🖤

In other news….if you have time, please keep me in your prayers during early May. I’ll be getting some scans and we are praying for good results! Thanks so much for all the love, prayers, and support. It means more to me than you realize.

Hope everyone has a great Friday! Rejoice and be glad 🖤

  1. Hi Holly,
Congrats on ringing the chemo bell! I rang it in 2016….and was diagnosed in January with my 2nd go around. I’ll start chemo on 4/22 and am using the cool cap. Todd Stephens has mentioned your name to me. I’m on women’s hospital Bust Breast Cancer committee. Think Shawn was talking to you about modeling! Hope you can join us.

  2. So proud of you darling daughter. Choosing to see opportunities rather than gloom and trusting Jesus to accomplish his plan for you. So happy for the 2nd bell ringing on Monday! Stay strong and know that your family, friends, co-workers and people you don’t even know are praying for you daily! God is good and he is our Father. So many people have given up their time to minister to you. It has been amazing to watch all the love and care coming your way. Love you SM.
